recently caught Seafood at: Supha’s

The fresh seafood available at Asian cuisine specialists, Supha’s, comes from local day boats fish merchant’s Moby Nick’s, Rex Down and Cracking Crab.

Recently, Supha’s stocked a variety of local fish such as red mullet, mackerel, squid, scallops, monkfish, clams, mussels, crab, lobster and cuttlefish on their fresh seafood counter, which is all available* to purchase daily.

Some of the red mullet available at Suphas was caught from 10m local boat, Rebecca V, which is skippered by local fisherman Dave Cowan.

Dave catches the red mullet using a 100mm-sized mesh and fishes them from the middle of the English Channel, south of the Devon and Cornish coastline, in the area designated 7E in the section of the Fisheries Management Chart, below. The red mullet fish are then purchased by the local fish merchants, that in turn supply the fresh seafood to Supha’s.

The team at Supha’s are passionate about the seafood they supply, and comment: ‘We have a Fresh fish counter so people can actually pick the fish they want to eat. We all love seeing people’s big smiles when they see our seafood offer that comes from within a stone’s throw of our Quayside Emporium.’
