Forgotten Corner Fish and Crab
I am Antony, a young fisherman from Cawsand Cornwall. I started fishing at the age of 3 with my dad and family and I love fishing.
I launched Forgotten Corner Fish and Crab in late 2023. My first boat the Ocean Harvester was washed away and smashed up, but the local community and family friends soon got me back on the water where I am happiest. My new boat the Ocean Harvester 1 is a purpose built non powered punt.
I am limited to what I can catch by IFCA and the weather also means my type of fishing is the most sustainable type with a low carbon footprint. I take great pride in my catch and supplying the best fish direct from my boat. It’s hard to get fresher fish.
My fish types come and go with the seasons. Many of my customers trying new types of fish they would normally not eat and loving it.
I film a lot of my fishing and it is viewable on my YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@npv1162 where you can see your fish and crabs being caught and learn the process.
All of my sales are done via my Facebook page where customers can follow my progress and look for updates on my landings.
Collections from Cawsand Beach or My Home. Being at school still means I fish weekends and some evenings so my page really is my go-to. I take great pride in supplying catch to Sole of Discretion in Plymouth and Pengelly’s in Looe.
I catch my own pot bait and everything I catch is used with no discards or waste. I am a Young Ambassador for Tyson ship riggers and a member of PFSA, CFPO, and member of the Young Fishermen network.

My aim is to save for a small inshore fishing vessel and to keep our fishing heritage alive.
